LANDLINE : THE REVIEW Starring Jenny Slate, John Tuturro, Edie Falco, Abby Quinn Written & Directed by Gillian Robespierre Let me start by saying I'm a fan of Jenny Slate. The last 3 movies I've seen of hers were fantastic. She may have bombed on Saturday Night Live, but her calling is in film. In Landline, Slate plays Dana an easy going yet confused young woman who is not sure of her life or getting married. Her younger sister Ali (Abby Quinn) is totally the opposite. In the beginning of the film, the sisters bicker and fight and don't get along til an incident with their father draws them together. As their friendship strengthens and learn more about each other.
